Lily Rose Beatrice Allen, commonly known as Lily Allen, is an English singer, songwriter and actress from London, England, United Kingdom. She briefly used her married name Lily Rose Cooper in the early 2010s before reverting to Lily Allen professionally.
Emerging in 2005 via Myspace demos, she broke through with the 2006 single "Smile" and debut album "Alright, Still", which mixed pop with ska and reggae influences. Follow‑up albums "It's Not Me, It's You", "Sheezus", "No Shame" and 2025’s "West End Girl" established her blend of pop, R&B, electropop, reggae and grime‑inflected production, paired with sharp, confessional lyrics.
