Elland Road is located very close to major roads such as the M621, A6110, and A643, meaning it is not difficult to reach by car from outside Leeds.
There are 2 main on-site car parks at Elland Road, Car Parks A and B. Parking in these car parks is not generally free, but visitors can often pay with cash on arrival. The Elland Road Park and Ride Car Park adjacent to the stadium can also be used. Fullerton Car Park, another on-site option, is generally used for season parking pass holders and special guests only.
Park and Ride
On Leeds United home matchdays and some other major events, a special Park & Ride service operates from Temple Green Park and Ride, and Stourton Park & Ride. The service is operated by Hunters Coaches and must be booked online in advance.

Leeds City Centre has many public parking facilities that can be used for visitors to Elland Road. From each of these car parks, the quickest way to access the stadium is by bus.

By taxi, it can take less than 10 minutes to reach Elland Road from central Leeds. There is a dedicated drop-off point at the stadium, within Car Park A (via Elland Road and Hoxton Mount).

During Leeds United matchdays, there may be additional R2 and R3 bus routes running to the stadium from 90 minutes before the match starts.
Cottingley train station is a 2.1 km (25 min) walk from Elland Road, and is the closest station to the stadium. There are generally hourly services from Cottingley to Leeds train station; the journey takes 5 minutes. Leeds train station – the city's principal station – is a 3.2 km (38 min) walk from Elland Road, but can also be reached quite conveniently by bus or taxi.
There is a dedicated cycle lane which runs from Elland Road park and ride into the city centre. It takes approximately 15 minutes to cycle to the stadium from central Leeds.
It is a 3.6 km (43 min) walk to Elland Road from central Leeds. Though this is a viable way of reaching the venue, it can involve stretches along busy roads. Visitors may therefore only wish to walk if they are arriving from a closer part of the city, or have already travelled part of the way by public transport.
