Unione Sportiva Lecce - also know as US Lecce and more commonly just as Lecce - is an Italian professional football club based in Lecce, Apulia and currently playing in the country's top tier Serie A. The club plays home games at Stadio Ettore Giardiniero - Via del Mare.
Founded in 1908 as Sporting Club Lecce, the club has spent the majority of its life between the first and second division of the Italian football system. Most recently, Lecce were promoted to Serie A in 2022 after winning the Serie B title. The highest the club has finished is ninth place in Serie A which was in the 1988-89 season.
