Le Havre Athletic Club - more commonly shortened to Le Havre AC or just Le Havre - is a French professional football club based in La Havre, Normandy and currently playing in the country's top tier Ligue 1. The club plays home games at Stade Océane.
Founded in 1894, Le Havre made its debut in the country's first championship in 1899 and became the first club not based in Paris to win. This early success continued and, although they have never won the current top tier title, they have won Ligue 2 a record number of times. Most recently, the club secured promotion to the top league by winning Ligue 2 in the 2022/23 season.
