The Korea Open is an annual tennis tournament staged in Seoul, South Korea (Republic of Korea), at the city's Olympic Park Tennis Center. The event began in 2004 as a women's event, with Maria Sharapova claiming the inaugural title. Other past winners include Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, and Jeļena Ostapenko. Having previously been held as both a WTA 125 and WTA 250 event, the Korea Open is now a WTA 500 event.

As well as having received a recent tour level upgrade, providing the event with greater exposure and a potentially higher quality field of competitors each year, the Korea Open has also previously seen the addition of a men's draw, with the event receiving a single-year ATP 250 license in 2022. The 2022 Korea Open marked the first ATP stop in South Korea since 1996, when the final edition of the Seoul Open took place at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center. Japanese player Yoshihito Nishioka won the sole edition of the men's event, defeating Denis Shapovalov in the final.

The Korea Open returned to a women's-only WTA 500 event again from 2025.
