Paul "Bear" Bryant served as the head coach at Kentucky for 8 seasons between 1946 and 1953. Commonly considered one of the all time great college football coaches, Bryant is one of 7 Wildcat players or coaches to have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Only 2 Wildcats have made it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame – George Blanda and Dermontti Dawson.
The Wildcats play their home games at Kroger Field, which has a capacity of 61,000.
