The racecourse is best reached from junction 36 of the M6 via the A590. Follow the signs towards Barrow and Ulverston until you reach the turn-off for High Newton, where you will also see a sign for Cartmel Priory. There will be temporary yellow event signage in place from the A590.

Cartmel Racecourse has ample onsite parking for those driving to the event:

• Free Parking - Seven Acres (follow the yellow signs for Course/Public Parking)
• Paid Parking - Paddock Enclosure parking (£10 per vehicle)
• Paid Parking - Onsite Course parking (£10 per vehicle)
• Priority Parking - Paddock Priory Side Rail parking (£60 per vehicle)

There is designated disabled parking within each enclosure (£10 per vehicle and allocated on the day) with Annual Member's Accessible spaces, Course Accessible spaces, and Paddock Accessible spaces. Please note this is not located on the running rail but within defined parking areas.

To encourage the message of "Don't Drink & Drive", drivers are permitted to leave their cars overnight in the car park. Please do not attempt to sleep in your car overnight. Your vehicle must leave by 12 midday the following day.
