John Morgan, an American country music singer-songwriter, was born on August 8, 1995, in Sylva, North Carolina. Immersed in music from a young age, he toured the summer festival circuit for a decade with his family bluegrass band before shifting focus to songwriting and relocating to Nashville. Morgan's talent soon caught the attention of Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, members of Jason Aldean's band, leading to a pivotal collaboration. Morgan contributed 8 tracks to Aldean's "Macon, Georgia" album, including hit singles like "If I Didn't Love You", "Trouble with a Heartbreak", and "That's What Tequila Does".
In 2022, Morgan participated in the American Song Contest, representing North Carolina with his performance of "Right in the Middle". He released the single "Friends Like That" from his debut album "Carolina Blue" on April 22, 2024.
