JLS, an acronym for Jack the Lad Swing, is a British boy band originating from London, United Kingdom. Comprising members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams, and JB Gill, the group gained prominence as runners-up on the UK talent show 'The X Factor' in 2008.
