Marriott’s prominence rose through his caustic YouTube commentary and Twitch livestreams, eventually amassing over two million subscribers.
His musical journey began with the yacht rock-inspired debut single "Slow Down" in May 2020. He later expressed dissatisfaction with the track and shifted toward a more guitar-based style with his EP "No Left Brain." His subsequent single releases, such as "Wake Up!" and "Grapes," were well-received, leading up to his second EP, "Bitter Tongues," an exploration of personal themes like heartbreak and identity.
