Indoor Volleyball Event Reviews

We had a great time. Great seats and loved the overall experience of the volleyball games. 2 great games for a reasonable price, friendly players and fans, couldn't have asked for more.

The event itself was organized at tragic level for fans. No transport for supporters back to Bologna after evening games. No dedicated buses, no taxis, no ubers. Match ended after 23:00 and I got to the hotel in Bologna at 2:00… on Saturday huge lines to enter the gym. Few hundred people had to stand in nearly 40 degrees, because there were maybe 3-4 entrances available. I stood 35 minutes and I was late for the first whistle. Shame on you.

The event was very good, but there a were logistics problem, a lot of people, including me and my wife, had to wait one hour and half or more for a taxi. I believe that this kind of event must have a better organization to prevent this.

The event itself was perfect, but two things you need to consider before going there: 1) there was huge queue to the Arena as there was only one person scanning the tickets! Watch out the line you are standing in - need to get the right one (entrance, sector, etc.). 2) after the show there was literally NO TAXI, UBER, TRAIN, BUS, NOTHING that would take us to Bolonia (city, not event the center). We need to walk at 23:00 over 10 km to the hotel, as no transport was available. So take a car or comfortable shoes.

It was an absolute delight to be in Ergo Arena in Gdansk among the very special Polish fans; the atmosphere of the Polish volleyball fans is something that everyone needs to experience by themselves. I have attended volleyball games in different places as a player, and have watched volleyball in different countries but nothing is comparable to this atmosphere; I'm so glad I got the chance to experience it :)
