The Houston Open is a professional men's golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour. After debuting at River Oaks Country Club in 1946, it moved to different venues during its early years. From 1951 through to 1963, the Houston Open was played at Memorial Park, which became a favourite venue and it returned there in 2020.

Each year, the event is contested by some of golf's biggest stars going head-to-head, making it a popular stop on the Tour.

General admission Grounds tickets are sold on a single-day basis, as are a range of hospitality options are offered for those seeking a more premium experience.

These include the Crawford Suite, Creekside Terrace, and Lexus Club, while the Venue Hopper allows you to sample multiple hospitality areas around the course.

🧒 Child Tickets

Children 15 and under are entitled to free general admission (no ticket or pre-booking required) to the tournament when accompanied by a ticketed adult, however children aged 4 years and older will need a full-price ticket to have access to any hospitality venues.

👨‍🎓 Student Tickets

There are no discounted tickets for students and so a full-price ticket must be purchased.

🧓 Senior Tickets

There are no discounted tickets for senior citizens and so a full-price ticket must be purchased.

🪖 Military Tickets

Military personnel and first responders are eligible for discounted Grounds tickets (50% off Thursday and 25% off Friday through Sunday), which can be ordered online. To receive a discount code, create a GovX account through the link displayed and complete the verification process.

👨‍🦽 Disabled Tickets

There are no discounted tickets for disabled visitors and so a full-priced ticket must be purchased.

Memorial Park Golf Course is located in Houston, approximately 7 km west of the city centre. Due to the event parking options available, arrival by car is most convenient, but it can also be reached via bus.

General parking is available for purchase at Brookhollow (2051 Governors Circle Houston, TX 77092).

Complimentary shuttles will run to the tournament's main entrance; the shuttle takes less than 15 minutes, and will drop spectators off less than 100 m (1 min) walk from the gate.

These passes must be purchased in advance and they will not be available on-site. Please have your pass ready upon arrival to ease the flow of traffic.

🚖️ Taxi

There is a designated rideshare drop-off point on W Memorial Loop Drive on the western side of the course.

🚍 Coach & Bus

Bus is a popular way to reach Memorial Park Golf Course because of its connections with multiple routes:

Memorial Park Golf Course cannot be reached directly via train, so further transport will be required.

The closest major station is Houston Amtrak Station, which is 6.6 km away and can be reached via the Sunset Limited service.

The closest METRORail stations are the Theater District (Green and Purple lines) and the Central Station Main (Red line). These are 7 km and 7.4 km from the golf course, respectively.

🚶‍♂️ Walking

Memorial Park Golf Course is approximately a 7.0 km (84 min) walk from the very centre of Houston, so if you're staying at one of the many hotels to be found in Downtown, the Central Business District, or the Houston Skyline District, you'll likely want to arrange transportation.

However, if you're staying at the Scottish Inns Westcott Street hotel or the Hampton Inn & Suites Houston Heights I-10, then the golf course is a 650 m (8 min) or 1.3 km (16 min) walk, respectively.
