Went to the Grand National Festival at Aintree a couple of years in a row and was really lucky to have amazing weather both times making it such an enjoyable day. If you don't like crowds then this isn't for you but the atmosphere is generally just fun and excited. If you're not steady on your feet, it's worth avoiding getting tickets in the higher areas like the roof. The facilities are really good with plenty of places you can get some food so the queues weren't too bad where we tried. Definitely a fun event to go to with your mates.

Great racing let down by the admin

My friends and I had a great day at Cheltenham this year! There aren't many better places to watch jump racing in my opinion, so go if you get the chance - you won't be disappointed! The atmosphere is one of the best I've ever experienced. I'd recommend walking to the course from Cheltenham town centre as the traffic can be a right nightmare.

As the hospitality options are often a good price and the course needs a bit of updating it is worth getting a hospitality or restaurant package for the experience. Especially on Christmas fixtures. Drinks are a reasonable price at the course compared with other racecourses. You can have a fun day out with your friends and family

Went to 2022 festival was so so good! The atmosphere is amazing. This is the first horse raving event I've been to and I'm no racing expert but I enjoyed the whole thing. The bars were really really busy and it's hard to get a drink in time between races but my friend who goes to a lot of courses says it can be the same at other places too. Plus there's so many people there. There's lot of good entertainment as well as the racing. Parking was really easy though a little muddy. Really want to go next year!

Excellent day out and absolutely packed with fans and newbies alike - atmosphere in the crowd was amazing. The parking is well organised but can be a bit boggy in some parts! Facilities are good with lots of bars and different areas to see the horses

WOW what a great time! I especially love the sprints!

Sandown is a great racecourse to visit and Tingle Creek Festival is a highlight - make sure you wrap up warm though!

Excellent day at the races! York is such a beautiful racecourse and we got to see Stradivarius!
