Hilary Duff, sometimes nicknamed "Hil", "HDuff" or "Hils", is an American actress, singer and author from Houston, Texas, United States. Rising to fame as the title character in Disney Channel’s "Lizzie McGuire", she quickly became one of the defining teen stars of the early 2000s.
Alongside acting in films such as "The Lizzie McGuire Movie", "A Cinderella Story" and "Cheaper by the Dozen", she developed a successful pop career. Her debut album "Metamorphosis" produced hits including "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean", followed by "Hilary Duff", "Dignity" and "Breathe In. Breathe Out.".
