Glasgow Clan - formerly known as Braehead Clan until the team was rebranded in 2018 - is a Scottish professional ice hockey team. It was formed in 2010 as the UK's top ice hockey league, the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) expanded and they were able to join. The team's home venue is the Braehead Arena - hence the original name - in Renfrewshire. It is 1 of 3 Scottish clubs playing in the top British league alongside Dundee Stars and the Fife Flyers. The Clan fans are known as the Purple Army and the official mascot is a highland cow named Clangus.
