Schloss Albrechtsberg is a 19th‑century neo‑classical palace and event venue overlooking the River Elbe in the Loschwitz district of Dresden, eastern Germany. Set within landscaped gardens and vineyards on the Elbe slopes, it forms part of the famed ensemble of Elbe castles and offers views over the historic city centre.
Today the palace functions primarily as an exclusive venue for celebrations and corporate occasions. It regularly hosts weddings, gala dinners, conferences, concerts, cultural programmes and private receptions, alongside occasional public events and guided tours.
The palace was built between 1850 and 1854 for Prince Albrecht of Prussia, designed by Berlin architect Adolf Lohse as a representative residence after the prince’s morganatic marriage forced his departure from the Prussian court. In 1925 it passed into the ownership of the city of Dresden. Following varied uses, including as a Soviet officers’ club and then a youth and cultural centre in the GDR era, it has been gradually restored since German reunification and adapted for high‑quality event use.
