Travelling within Cologne is remarkably convenient due to its well-structured public transport system, which includes trams, buses, and an underground network. The city’s compact size and flat terrain also make it an ideal place to explore by foot or bike. For those wishing to drive, however, traffic can be heavy, and parking can be scarce and expensive in central areas.

About BayArena

Bay Arena is a football stadium in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Since 1958, it has served as the home ground of the Bundesliga's Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Opened in 1958 as Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion, the stadium originally had a capacity of 20,000 but after various renovations over the decades, it can now hold over 30,000. The stadium has initially hoped to host some of the 2006 World Cup games, however, it was not deemed practical to expand the venue to the FIFA-mandated 40,000 capacity, and so the BayArena was sadly overlooked. The stadium was selected as one of the venues for the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and hosted 3 group matches and a quarterfinal match.

There is a free Bundesliga travel guide app aimed at football fans with and without disabilities. Among other things, it offers an audio service for visually impaired and blind fans and information in plain language. This is a simplified variant of the standard German language - with the aim of giving as many people as possible access to information. In addition, you can select your individual support needs in the app and based on this you will receive all the information relevant to you - for example, where the barrier-free entrances or toilets are located in the respective stadium.
