Mitte, Bielefeld’s historic city centre, is the ideal place to stay to immerse in the city’s rich history and culture. It is within walking distance of the main landmarks and attractions including Sparrenburg Castle, as well as Bielefeld’s best restaurants and bars.

Alternatively, explore the natural side of Bielefeld by staying in Senne, Sennestadt, or Jollenbeck, which lie on the outskirts of the city. Or go even more rural by staying in the surrounding countryside.

For the best of both city and country life, stay in Dornberg, Schildesche, Heepen, or Gadderbaum, which has train routes to other parts of Germany. These districts are just a few minutes’ drive into Mitte, and close to the parks and fields that surround it.
