The Yellow Jackets are the football team of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Georgia Tech is one of the most successful teams in college football over its history, with 4 national titles won across 4 different decades. Over 150 Yellow Jackets have gone on to play in the NFL, and Bobby Heisman (for whom the Heisman Trophy is named) was a coach for the program. The school has a deep history of animosity with the Georgia Bulldogs, and the rivalry is known as "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate".
