Frosinone Calcio - commonly known simply as Frosinone - is an Italian professional football club based in Frosinone, Lazio and currently playing in the country's top tier Serie A. The club plays home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe.
Founded in 1906 as Unione Sportiva Frustinate, the club began playing competitively in the late 1920s. In 1959 and then again in 1990, the club was refunded after cancellation by the Italian Football Federation. Since the 1990s, Frosinone has played in Serie B and Serie C before winning promotion to Serie A for the first time in the club's history in 2015. Sadly, the club was relegated again but was promoted to the top league once more in 2018 and in 2023 after finishing the season as Serie B champions.
