Festival Trials Day is an exciting single-day jump (National Hunt) racing meeting for thoroughbred horses held annually at the end of January at the iconic Cheltenham Racecourse in the UK.
As the name suggests, the meeting hosts a plethora of races that serve as trial events for the big one; the Cheltenham Festival. Expect to see some of the finest jumpers and riders go head-to-head to become contenders less than 2 months before the start of the festival. The atmosphere is always full of excitement and anticipation at Festival Trials Day as large crowds soak up the competition and the entertainment.
Festival Trials Day Tickets
Cheltenham Racecourse is divided into several enclosures with varying access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to one of the following:
- Club/Tatts Enclosure – a combination of the Club and Tattersalls Enclosure, this offers access to the best race views, Pre-Parade Ring, Parade Ring, Winners’ Enclosure, as well as public areas of the Princess Royal Stand. As a Club Enclosure ticketholder, you will also have access to the Best Mate enclosures. A variety of hospitality tickets offer food and drink packages on top of entry to the Club Enclosure
- Best Mate Enclosure – access to food outlets and bars, as well as the covered grandstand which allows for great head-on views of the racecourse
