The European Championship, known as the Machineseeker European Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a PDC-run darts tournament which sees the top-32 players on the PDC's European Tour go head-to-head across 4 days of competition. Winners include Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Rob Cross, and Peter Wright.
Traditionally, the European Championship takes place in continental Europe, with previous host cities including Frankfurt, DĂĽsseldorf, Hasselt, and Salzburg. It is currently held in Dortmund, Germany.
