Super Saturday is an exciting flat racing fixture for thoroughbred horses and is held at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, UAE.
The meeting is part of the incredible Dubai World Cup Carnival which sees weeks of racing build up to the Dubai World Cup, one of the most prestigious flat races in the world. The race was created in 1996 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and owner of the Darley Stud & Godolphin Racing, one of the world's leading thoroughbred breeding and racing operations. Since its 2019 running, the race has carried a purse of $12 million and is the world's richest horse race.
The festival is pioneering in terms of duration and scope and has successfully attracted some of racing’s finest stars from all around the world - Great Britain, the United States of America, Japan, France, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Brazil, Australia, and Hong Kong to name a few.
Emirates Super Saturday Tickets
At Meydan Racecourse, there are several main enclosures to choose from, along with a number of restaurant packages and private hospitality options available for pre-booking. Enclosures have varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to 1 of the following:
- General Public - a section within the Meydan Grandstand with a number of seats available boasting excellent views, sufficient room on the vast apron area between the track and the Grandstand, close-up view of the Parade Ring, and a range of food and drink outlets. When bought in advance, these tickets are free!
- Trackside by McGettigan's - perfect for friends and family, featuring an outdoor space, kid's playground, and cash bar
- The Parade Ring Lounge - a private and exclusive area offering a cash bar and is located on the Mezzanine and Ground Floor of the Parade Ring Restaurant with access to the beautiful green outdoors. Guests have close-up views of the horses as they parade on their way to the starting gate, as well as the winning horses after each race
