The Dubai World Cup is one of the most prestigious flat racing meetings for thoroughbred horses held annually in spring at the extravagant Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, UAE.
Although it was inaugurated relatively recently for the racing world - first ran in 1996 - the Dubai World Cup has become the world’s richest horse race with a purse of $30+ million. The Dubai World Cup is the final race of a top-class day of racing offering 8 other races, consisting of thoroughbred contests and 1 purebred Arabian contest.
It is the event not to be missed with famous artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson performing in recent years. Expect the best entertainment on and off the track.
Dubai World Cup Tickets
At Meydan Racecourse, there are several main enclosures to choose from, along with a number of restaurant packages and private hospitality options available for pre-booking. Enclosures have varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to one of the following:
- General Admission - a section within the Meydan Grandstand with a number of seats available boasting excellent views, sufficient room on the vast apron area between the track and the Grandstand, a close-up view of the Parade Ring, and a range of food and drink outlets
- Apron Views - between the track and the Meydan Grandstand, this area hosts the Style Stakes and offers a delicious variety of cuisines from popular eateries from Apron Views’ Rails Food Court, located on the Mezzanine Floor
- The Premium - opposite the finish line and adjacent to the Parade Ring, offering stunning views of the racing and entertainment from reserved, numbered seats. Guests can enjoy their food either inside or outside at their seats in order not to miss the racing action
- The Gallery - situated after the finish line with a good view of the racing and entertainment, the grandstand seating area outside the Gallery is not reserved allowing guests the opportunity to change locations throughout the day
