Divorce is a British alternative country band from Nottingham, England. Comprising vocalist and bassist Tiger Cohen-Towell, co-vocalist Felix Mackenzie-Barrow, drummer Kasper Sandstrom, and lead guitarist Adam Peter-Smith, this four-piece ensemble emerged onto the music scene in 2021. Their sound uniquely intertwines country roots with an alternative edge, capturing the dissonance and harmony central to their music.
The band's journey began when all members met at age 16, they united to form Divorce, taking up instruments divergent from their past projects. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut EP, "Get Mean," in 2022, featuring the notable single "Pretty." Following this, their second EP, "Heady Metal," was released in 2023 to favourable reviews. This EP explored themes of identity uncertainty and marked their rising prominence as they were featured on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Their debut album, "Drive To Goldenhammer," released in 2025, encapsulated a humorous yet poignant narrative reflective of new artists' journeys.
