Helsingør Theater (Den Gamle By)

Helsingør Theater is a historic theatre in Den Gamle By, the open-air museum in Aarhus. It hosts plays, opera, concerts, talks and other cultural or business events.

Built in Helsingør in 1817 by a local dramatic society, the theatre also served as a gathering hall and later housed a cinema. It was dismantled in 1957 and rebuilt at Den Gamle By in 1961, with a modern foyer. Its surviving historic interior remains in use as a performance space.
