Def Leppard are an English rock band from Sheffield, England. Emerging from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, they forged a distinctive mix of hard rock and glam metal with a polished, arena-ready sound. The enduring line-up includes Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell.
The band broke through with the album "Pyromania" and its singles "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages", and achieved worldwide prominence with "Hysteria", which yielded hits such as "Pour Some Sugar on Me", "Love Bites", "Animal" and "Armageddon It".
