David Anthony Burke, professionally known as d4vd (pronounced DAY-vid), is an American singer and songwriter. Born in Queens, New York City, Burke later moved to Houston, Texas. His musical journey began with montage videos of the video game Fortnite, leading him to create original music to avoid copyright issues.
Burke's breakthrough came in 2022 when his singles "Here with Me" and "Romantic Homicide" went viral on TikTok, propelling him to widespread recognition. These tracks led to his signing with Darkroom and Interscope Records. His debut EP, "Petals to Thorns", was released in 2023, followed by "The Lost Petals". In 2024, Burke released "Feel It", marking his third entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
D4vd’s first full-length album, "Withered", launched in April 2025, showcased his growth as an artist. Known for blending various music genres, his work attracts a diverse audience.
