Nestled amidst the stunning Dhauladhar mountains, the HPCA Stadium boasts a breathtaking backdrop for any cricket match. The scenic beauty creates a unique and unforgettable cricketing experience for players and spectators. It has modern amenities like well-maintained seating areas and restrooms. Best stadiums in India.

Good organisation, helpful staff, great views from anywhere in the stadium and fantastic setting. HOWEVER, access and exits to seats themselves was totally inadequate and in the event of an emergency evacuation would have been a deathtrap.

4 of us bought tickets to the club lounge in Dharamshala cricket ground for the 5th test match between India and England . The ground in its spectacular setting is fabulous and the lunch provided was first class . As a partly disabled person I have to say seating inside the lounge is nonexistent which is a bit of an issue for someone like me . Otherwise the whole experience was great . Beer and wine are only available in club lounge and VIP areas as a side note .

Nothing really to complain about this stadium. Great view. Comfortable seats. The cleanest toilets I've ever seen in an Indian stadium. Good selection of reasonably priced food.

The Jharkand Cricket Stadium in Ranchi is great once you get in.
We arrived at 9:15am on Day 1 to collect pre-paid tickets and joined a queue that took over two hours to reach the ‘ticket office’. This ‘office’ was two small holes in a wall where you had to pass your phone and QR code and eventually receive your paper ticket(s) which were the only way access was granted. Why on earth only two collection points were provided for hundreds of people trying to collect tickets is beyond me. We missed the entire morning’s play - and 5 English wickets - as a result of this disorganised mess.
Water bottles were confiscated on the gate and you could not buy water in the stadium. Free cups of water were provided until they ran out which was typically by mid afternoon. We eventually smuggled empty water bottles in and filled them up ourselves from the free water dispensers. They tried to take our sun cream as well but were given short shrift. Quite why this policy is adopted is unbelievable. I could understand if they wanted you to purchase water in the ground but you couldn’t. It was very hot in Ranchi and you needed more than a free, small, paper cup.
The cricket and other facilities were great even if the result did not go England’s way. India deserved their win.

Did you hear about the fiasco of people being sent messages that they would not be able to pick up the match tickets on the day, or even the day before?? !! I will leave it there and other readers of this review will know exactly what I am referring to.

The usual Indian restrictions about what you are not allowed to take in. Great view from stand but no shade. Plenty of drinking water available. Reasonably priced snacks. Toilets not great. Terrific atmosphere

Ticket purchase online was straight forward but collection point was far from stadium
Our seating in north stand had good shade and great viewing
Security to enter stadium was over excessive ..no suncream..no water bottles. First day there was no cold water available for drinking until much later. Empty paper cups were for sale at 60 rps each. Food sales were difficult to find as no signage and there was no queue system. Food was more available from day 2.
Ladies toilets had no rubbish bins or soap...and you werent allowed to take hand sanitiser into stadium

Appalling entry protocol with sunscreen, insect repellent and even water being confiscated at the gate. Compounded by no water being available in the stadium.

T20I Series: India Women v England Women 1st T20I, Wankhede Stadium
It was very sad experience as only two stands where open fr crowd. Further due to free entry the crowd that was present was a bit rowdy not interested in game and misbehaving. I wanted to enjoy the live game however could not stand the crowd fitted cumbersome and down market. Please let me know if I could pay and watch it from better position and safe crowd. Highly disappointed and won't dare to come for weekend matches as on weekday got the worst glimpse.

Yorkshire v Lancashire, North Marine Road
The day from a cricketing point of view was a disaster. It was the only fine day in a week of appalling weather and there were thousands in the ground. However the pitch was not fit to play due to previous day’s water having affected one end. It was quite definitely not Yorkshire CCC nor Scarborough CC’s finest moment.
How will they compensate the thousands of visitors who paid to attend?
