Overview
- ⏱️7 daysApproximate duration
Cowes Week is one of the longest running sporting events in the UK, held every August since 1826 with breaks only for the World Wars. The regatta has expanded massively since its early days, and now between 800 and 1,000 boats turn up to the Solent each summer, racing in a range of classes from the classic to the ultra-modern. Elite and casual sailors share the water, bringing variety and excitement to this cornerstone of the society calendar.
Cowes Week Tickets
There are many ways to enjoy Cowes Week and the daily races can be viewed for free from the shoreline, but ticketed options are available to guarantee a great viewing spot from the water. Spectator boats depart 3 times a day for an hour-long trip on the Solent. More information can be found in the official spectator guide.
