Clermont Foot 63 - more commonly known as Clermont Foot or simply Clermont - is a French professional football club based in Clermont-Ferrand and currently playing in the country's top tier Ligue 1. The club plays home games at Stade Gabriel-Montpied.
Founded in 1911 as Stade Clermontois, the club had early success when they reached the Coupe de France semifinals in 1946, however, the following season, they had their professional status repealed before regaining it in 1966. Clermont expanded and saw a merger in the 1980s, and since then, they have moved up the divisions and performed well in cup tournaments. Clermont are also noteworthy as the first French men's team to appoint a female manager when they hired Helena Costa in 2014 and then Corinne Diacre.
