The Tigers are the football team of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Clemson is one of the most successful college football programs in the United States. The Tigers claim 3 national titles and 26 conference titles, with over 750 wins and 6 undefeated seasons. More than 250 Tigers have gone on to play in the NFL, and 7 have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Clemson was a founding member of the ACC, and holds more ACC titles than any other member of the conference.
Since 2008, the team has been coached by Dabo Swinney, a former wide receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tigers maintain strong rivalries with South Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, and Georgia Tech.
