If you've got Visa, MasterCard, or American Express then they should be quite widely accepted, especially when it comes to hotels and big touristy shops and restaurants, and there should be plenty of ATMs that work with foreign cards too, such as Bank of China and other major banks.

Alipay and WeChat Pay are also good alternatives as they'll allow you to make mobile payments and you should be able to set them up in advance with a foreign card. All that being said, I would definitely recommend bringing a little cash though, just to be safe.
