At Haydock Park Racecourse there are several enclosures to choose from, along with a number of restaurant packages and private hospitality options which can be pre-booked. Enclosures have varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to one of the following:

Premier Enclosure - on the Centenary Stand's top floor, the Premier Suite (Lounge) offers sophisticated surroundings, the exclusive ‘Harry’s Bistro’ Restaurant facility, a bar, betting areas, and a spacious viewing balcony overlooking the Winning Post
County Enclosure - situated directly opposite the Winning Post with access to several suites and bars in the Centenary Stand, as well as viewing access to the Parade Ring and Winners' Enclosure
Grandstand & Paddock - the largest of Haydock Park's enclosures, with access to the Makerfield grandstand and viewing access to the Parade Ring and Winners' Enclosure

Subject to availability and restrictions, tickets can be upgraded on the day.

🧒 Child Tickets

All children aged 17 and under gain access to the racecourse free of charge but you must purchase a zero-value child's ticket prior to arrival online.

👨‍🎓 Student Tickets

There are no discounted tickets for students and so a full-price ticket must be purchased.

🧓 Senior Tickets

There are no discounted tickets for senior citizens and so a full-price ticket must be purchased.

👨‍🦽 Disabled Tickets

Racegoers with disabilities are offered an extra ticket free of charge so that they are able to attend with a carer.

Disabled viewing facilities are available in different areas of the venue, including:

Makerfield Stand – First Floor, Final Furlong Bar
Centenary Stand – First Floor, Horseshoe Suite
Tommy Whittle Stand – First Floor, Whittle Suite

To access the disabled viewing facilities on racedays, customers will be asked to show a valid disability badge.

Haydock Park is located just 1 mile from Junction 23 of the M6 and has extensive parking space, so is popularly accessed by car. As it is situated close to Liverpool and Manchester as well as Warrington and Wigan, the venue has extensive public transport links with connections to all areas of the country.

🅿️ Parking

All traffic should enter the racecourse from the A49 down the racecourse main drive. The Golborne / East entrance is also open.

All parking is free of charge at the racecourse. There are 3 reserved car parks for those racegoers with reserved car park passes (normally provided with hospitality badges and to members, owners, and jockeys) and a large gravel car park for all to use.

There are accessible parking facilities located close to the site entrance.

🚖️ Taxi

Taxis can drop-off and pick-up racegoers at the venue. It is a useful way to get to the course from Newton-le-Willows and the nearest train station as well as from local hotels.

520 'Peoplesbus' Bus Service (Liverpool City Centre to Haydock Park) on every Saturday raceday the pick up stop on St Johns Lane (next to St Johns Gardens/St Georges Hall) and the bus stop opposite the Showcase Cinema on the East Lancashire Road in Croxteth

On certain racedays there is a complimentary shuttle bus from Newton-le-Willows train station from 2 hours before the first race with return journeys after racing. 🚆 Train

Train is one way to reach Haydock Park because of its connections with multiple lines:

Main line rail (connections to Liverpool & Manchester) – Newton-le-Willows station · approx. 3 miles from course
Main line rail (connections to London & Glasgow) – Wigan North Western station · approx. 7 miles from course
Main line rail (connections to London & Glasgow) – Warrington Bank Quay station · approx. 8 miles from course

Shuttle buses or public buses are a good way to get to the course from Newton-le-Willows station. From both Wigan North Western and Warrington Bank Quay stations, you can take a taxi to the course.

🚁 Helicopter

Haydock Park has an airfield and helicopter landing area for chartered travel.

🚶‍♂️ Walking

Haydock Park is a 1.6 km (19 min) walk from Ashton-in-Makerfield which is the nearest town and has access to shops and eateries.
