The Hockey Hall of Fame is in the Old Toronto area of the city so there is plenty to see and do within walking distance. The iconic CN Tower is just a 1.1 km (13 min) walk away while historical buildings such as the Gooderham Building (300 m (4 min) walk) and Toronto Old City Hall (1.0 km (12 min) walk) are close by as well. You'll also find plenty of eateries and bars nearby serving up anything from stylish brunch to Italian fine dining or maybe even an upscale selection of trendy beers.
As Toronto is so big and diverse, it’s easy to find accommodation to suit any budget and taste. The city attracts a youthful crowd, so there’s plenty of cheap yet stylish hostels in each neighbourhood to rest your head, and even make new friends. However, if you’d prefer a double bed and fluffy white robe, the city is also home to some of Canada’s finest luxury hotels.
Food and drinks are not permitted to be brought into the Hockey Hall of Fame, but there are refreshment and snack machines inside.
There is a Tim Hortons within the Hockey Hall of Fame adjacent to the Spirit of Hockey retail store offering coffee, snacks, donuts, sandwiches, and much more.
Although eating and drinking facilities at the Hall of Fame are limited, there are some great places nearby. The Bottom Line is a sport bar owned and operated by former NHL star Wayne Cowley and is located at 22 Front Street West.
Enter the Hockey Hall of Fame via the main entrance on the Shopping Concourse Level of Brookfield Place. It is located in the southeast corner of the Concourse. Please note that there is no public access through the front doors of the historic bank building at Yonge and Front Streets.
There are toilet facilities conveniently located throughout the building. Baby changing stations are located in both restrooms located next to Upper Deck Collectors’ Corner.
