As the Canadian Tire Centre is located just outside of Ottawa and there is a great range of parking available, the most popular way to reach the venue is by car. There are also some public transport links provided by OC Transpo.

General parking is in lots 5, 6, and 9, and this is often the most affordable parking. As general parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, it is important to remember that Lots 5 and 6 will fill prior to an event start, but Lot 9 will not.
Lot 3 has accessible parking spaces. In order to access this parking, patrons must present a valid government-issued Accessible Parking Permit to the attendant, at which point you may either purchase a regular parking pass or present any pre-paid parking pass you may have already purchased
Valet parking is available at a cost of $60. For customers wishing to purchase valet parking upon arrival, availability is limited.
Bus and recreational vehicle parking is $75 for full-sized vehicles and $60 for half-sized vehicles.

Within the Canadian Tire Centre, there are a variety of restaurants including Club Red Restaurant and Lounge (fine dining), Bert’s, Chek Point, Molson Canadian Brew Pub. The Ledge Restaurant - which overlooks the arena for Senators hockey games - and the Alumni lounge are open for Senators hockey games and most Canadian Tire Centre events.
Food concessions at Canadian Tire Centre are operated by Aramark Sports and Entertainment. In addition, well-known items such as Pizza Pizza and Tim Horton’s are also available.
Food and beverages obtained outside the Canadian Tire Centre are not permitted in the building.
Water fountains are located on the Club and Main concourses, and the upper-bowl levels.
Guests will be able to enter the arena 60 minutes before the scheduled start time. Please note that backpacks, coolers, and duffle bags will not be permitted into the arena.
There are taxi services available for pre-booking which will drop guests off at the venue.
Guests dropping off passengers may use Frank Finnigan Way located directly in front of Gate 1 at the Canadian Tire Centre.
Limousines may drop off and pick up their customers in the valet drop-off area situated at Dodge Gate for a fee of $50. Pay the cashier in cash only the night of the event or purchase in advance, a package of 20 limousine passes from the Indigo office. These can be paid by company cheque or by cash.
Bus is a popular way to reach the arena due to its connections with several public bus routes:
OC Transpo Routes 404 and 405 are your connection to Canadian Tire Centre from across the region. The closest train stations are located in southwest Ottawa: Tunney's Pasture, Carling, Carleton, and Mooney's Bay.
Ottawa has a vast network of multi-use pathways for cycling, and you can take your bike on trains and buses. The city also has bike repair stations and Bikesecure shelters offering reserved parking spots.
As Canadian Tire Centre is located outside the city of Ottawa, it is generally easier to drive into the city centre to discover the sights.

Canadian Tire Centre is the home venue of the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL), so it predominantly hosts ice hockey games. Wrestling and basketball events as well as music concerts are also held at the arena. You can find the Canadian Tire Centre schedule above.
Tickets for events at Canadian Tire Centre will vary greatly in price depending on numerous factors such as the event, the teams playing, the ticket type, and the ticket seller. In the last 12 months, we have seen tickets as low as CAD $16 with the average price sitting at around $47. It is possible to purchase tickets at the arena's box office which is locatedon the east side of the building at the main entrance, Gate 1, and is open 2 hours prior to the start of an event and closed on non-event days. However, buying tickets online is generally more reliable and more convenient as you are able to view a range of options and prices, and purchase a ticket before arriving at the arena.

Gates typically open between 60 mins before the start of the event. For some events, you can find the gate/door opening time on Koobit by viewing the event’s Schedule tab. Timings should also be confirmed on your tickets when you receive them.
