Pinheiros emanates Vila Madalena’s bohemian atmosphere at a slightly more affordable price, but it differs by being much more lively. Foodies will love Rue dos Pinheiros, a bustling pedestrian zone lined with restaurants with tables spilling out onto the streets. Some of the city’s best nightlife spots can be found around here too.

For a super unique stay in São Paulo, opt to stay Liberdade which is home to the biggest Japanese community outside of Japan. Along with this comes a really interesting mix of Brazilian and Japanese shops, restaurants, and buildings to explore.
