The Falcons are the football team of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA and play in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Bowling Green claim one national title from 1959, when they were part of NCAA Division II, and 12 MAC conference titles. The team's most recent conference championship came in 2015, when the Falcons defeated West Division winners Northern Illinois in the decisive game.
The Falcons play their home games at Doyt Perry Stadium. Since 2018, the team has been coached by Scot Loeffler, a former offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach with previous experiences at Boston College, Virginia Tech, and Auburn.
Bowling Green plays Toledo every year in the Battle of I-75, and also maintains a rivalry with Kent State.
