The Wildcats are the football team of Bethune–Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. They compete in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) of the NCAA and play in the East Division of the South West Athletic Conference (SWAC).
Bethune–Cookman claims 2 Black College Football National Championships, from 2010 and 2013, and 14 conference titles. From 1979 to 2021 the Wildcats competed in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), moving to the SWAC before the start of the 2021 season.
More than 30 Bethune–Cookman players have gone on to play in the NFL. One of these players, offensive guard Larry Little, was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his achievements with the San Diego Chargers and the Miami Dolphins.
The Wildcats play their home games at Daytona Stadium.
