Parking is not provided at the circuit, but fans can use car parks elsewhere in Melbourne. During the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, free GP Express tram services are provided from the city to the circuit. See the Train Travel section for more details.

Some local car parks that offer weekend parking include:

• 2 Bowen Crescent – open 05:00 to 22:00, accessible parking available, AUD $10 flat daily rate during Grand Prix · 2.6 km (31 min) walk
• 36 Jacka Blvd – open 07:00 to 00:00, accessible parking available, $16 daily rate · 2.4 km (29 min) walk
• 436 St Kilda Road – open 24 hours, weekend parking from $8 · 2.8 km (34 min) walk

Taxi and ranks are located around the circuit:

• Gates 1 and 2 (on Canterbury Road)
• Gates 3 and 5 (on Albert Road)
• Gate 8 (on St Kilda Road)
• Gate 10 (on Fitzroy Street)

From Melbourne city centre or St Kilda, the journey is approximately 10-20 minutes and the fare is typically around AUD $20.

Ridesharing services can drop-off and pick-up at Gates 1, 2, 3, and 10.

Several local bus routes include stops close to the circuit:

• 922 – St Kilda Station/Fitzroy St stop · 300 m (4 min) walk
• 246 – St Kilda Junction/Punt Rd stop · 600 m (7 min) walk
• 606 – Wright St/Richardson St stop · 750 m (9 min) walk

Trams are the most convenient way to reach the circuit, particularly during Grand Prix weekends, when ticketholders can take trams to the circuit for free. Popular tram routes include:

• Route 96 – runs from Southern Cross Station, most convenient for Gates 1 and 2 
• Route 12 – runs from Southern Cross Station, most convenient for Gate 3
• Routes 3a, 5a, 16a, 64a – runs from Melbourne Central Station via Flinders Street Station, most convenient for Gates 5, 8, 9, and 10

The closest Metro Train station to the circuit is Prahran, approximately 1.2 km (14 min) walk from Gate 9. Prahran is on the Sandringham line, which runs between Sandringham Station and Flinders Street Station.

A designated helipad is provided adjacent to Gate 10. Private helicopters can land here, subject to landing fees. Registration and insurance declaration forms must be provided to Professional Helicopter Services in advance.

There are dedicated drop-off locations near Gates 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10 for fans travelling to the circuit by an bicycle and scooter.

Neuron and Lime have parking zones and fans are asked to store electric bicycles and scooters in dedicated parking locations.

The circuit is around an hour's walk from the Melbourne CBD, but it is much closer to South Melbourne. From St Kilda, the walk is approximately 900 m (11 min) to Gate 10.
