The Sydney SuperDome, known for sponsorship reasons as the Qudos Bank Arena (and previously as the Acer Arena and Allphones Arena), is a multi-purpose indoor arena situated in Sydney Olympic Park. With a seating capacity in excess of 21,000 when accounting for floor seating, it is the largest indoor sports and entertainment venue in Australia, and it is the home of the NBL's Sydney Kings.
📜 History
Originally built for the 2000 Summer Olympics, during which it hosted basketball and gymnastics events, the Qudos Bank Arena has since established itself as a hugely successful venue in its own right.
Sports such as tennis and netball are regularly played at the venue, and it also stages countless concerts, corporate exhibitions, and events.
