Polytec Stadium, also known as Central Coast Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Gosford, Australia. It hosts a variety of events including football and rugby matches, and concerts. It is the home ground of the Central Coast Mariners A-League team. The stadium is known for its scenic backdrop and intimate atmosphere.

History

Opening in February 2000, Polytec Stadium was built to provide a modern sports facility for the growing Central Coast region. It originally hosted rugby league matches and later became the headquarters for the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League. Over the years, the venue has expanded to include rugby union and other community events, while also being a favoured location for concerts due to its prime coastal views and accessibility. Its blend of modern amenities and picturesque setting continues to make it a beloved landmark in Gosford.

🍔 Food & Drink

Sealed non-alcoholic drinks may be brought into the stadium from outside. Homemade food for personal consumption can also be brought into the stadium. Small coolers, eskies, or food bags can also be brought into the venue, provided they are small enough to fit under a stadium seat.

Commercial or takeaway food cannot be brought into the stadium if purchased off-site. Alcohol purchased outside the stadium cannot be brought into the venue, and alcohol purchased with the stadium cannot be consumed outside of it. Glass containers and vacuum flasks are not permitted at the stadium.

For those wishing to purchase food or drink at the stadium, there are 6 bars and 6 food outlets, which can be found throughout the Eastern and Western concourses.

There are 2 main entry gates at Polytec Stadium:

Eastern Gate (Gate 1), off Dane Drive, opposite the Central Coast Leagues Club
Western Gate (Gate 3), by the waterfront, next to Brian McGowan Bridge/Central Coast Highway

Re-entry is permitted at most events at Polytec Stadium, provided spectators collect a "pass-out" token from gate staff, to present upon re-entering the venue. Consult with a steward if you are not sure whether re-entry is permitted at your event.
