Fantastic Meet

The Prefontaine Classic was a well organized and well run meet that kept your head spinning from event to event with every race or event being a final. So exciting!

Once of a life trip. Great facility, great competition and great people.

Hayward field is the greatest venue and everything is first class. Every seat is a great view of the action. Great announcing and fan knowledge. LOVE IT!

Trip of a lifetime

Great stadium and atmosphere, relatively easy entry once the championships got going.

The event was well organized. Most of the volunteers were very helpful, however a few got impatient with visitors due to the language barrier. I assume that it was the language barrier and not something else! Sometimes the credit card machines for buying food and drinks did not function properly. This was very frustrating, both to the young people behind the counter and to the spectators. Other than that it was a good experience for me.

As we always find when we visit any athletic event, the options for food are not particularly healthy. We didn't see any salad bars or similar, or vegan/vegetarian outlets. Mostly burgers and chips etc.

We find this surprising considering the nature of the event, where I'm sure the athletes would have a healthier diet than that provided for the public.

Amazing day out really good atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Well organised got there early and enjoyed the Junior races.

Had fantastic time watched some top athletes. Great view from seats. Only negative the food available at ground was rubbish. We didn't realise most of it was before you went through turnstiles and then nothing much for vegetarian all I could buy was crisps.

Great atmosphere the spectators really gave all the athletes a great welcome. Organisation in and outside the stadium was excellent

We were very impressed with our day in Lausanne. Our tickets for the athletics also entitled us to use public transport around Lausanne for free for that day. Everything at the stadium was well organised, with all sorts of stalls around the stadium giving away certain things for free. Inside the stadium was absolutely brilliant as we were only 4 rows back and witnessed some breathtaking athletics all night, we will definitely be coming back.

I have given this event two goes now. once round the far side, and one round the other side. I won't be doing it again. All they need is two large screens so that everyone can see everything, I cannot believe that a major event such as this is conducted without large screens. You can't even seen all of the small screens, no matter where you sit. What I saw was great. There was so much I couldn't see.

The Athletics was good but the day was let down by the poor services at the venue and the music was far too loud.

Such a great event. The stadium is really suitable for that event. The athletes were amazing. Staff and security were friendly and helpful. Plenty of clean toilets. Only thing missing...not enough choice of food available

The commentary was great and so was the athletics
