We have been attending the woman's semi final days tennis for many years now and have enjoyed the days immensely. However, this year we were extremely disappointed with the days schedule. We also along with those around us found the temporary seats in the Robinson stand very uncomfortable.
The second semi final was way too late in the evening and we along with many people chose not to stay. It can't be a good look with so many empty seats for such a prestigious match.
As we travel a distance to attend, we will certainly be looking closely at the timing of the matches in future before deciding to attend.
The many people we have talked to share these comments and hopefully you can return to hosting a great day that we could enjoy again.
Thankyou
Great venue, lots of fun!
Awesome event!
Cycle parking
Disappointing not to see any of the world top competitors at this event, the atmosphere layout and experience was great. Drinks and eats were very expensive, and these prices really need to be looked at. Not sure if I'd go again
Awesome time, but where was Coco?!

I didn't come this year, because I couldn't get to my usual seats in the Robinson Stand, rows C-E, they seemed to be block booked. Unless this changes, I won't be back, very sad given that I've attended four times previously
Good tennis, but full sun seating was very hot
Only criticism is ..when coming from the bottom end of Stanley Street and have seats in the Redwood Stand, we should not have to walk all the way up the hill to the Main entrance, but should be allowed to enter lower down Stanley Street near the Admin. Entrance.
What an amazing experience...every aspect beautifully presented. Volunteers super helpful and friendly...was my 70th birthday...what a gift. Keep it up. We'll be back
The organisers did a fantastic job to get tennis of this quality to NZ and turn Stanley Street into a wonderful environment for the duration.
I have been to the event for many years starting in 1975 when the courts were grass. Onny Paron the Kiwi was the best player i those days. A huge change since. The best development was when the event became much more spacious over the adjoining road which provides for so much extra entertainment under the lovely oaks. The possibility when there could have been a roof has been missed. A fundamental mistake at that most opportune time before the Next Generation arrived. The reason I consider to be lack of outstanding leadership. With W.T.A. Rules imminent the future and it's impact remains to be seen.
First time at the ASB classic and its not the last. My friend and I bought tickets for the men's final in the Yock stand, but we bought ground passes for 3 other days. The experience was great, loved the atmosphere, everyone happy. We sat on comfy chairs under a tree to watch the big screen.Perfect. Huge choice of food and drinks.
We will be there next year.
