First up is the American Express – perhaps better known as the Desert Classic – which is held across multiple courses at PGA West in La Quinta, Riverside County, from 19 – 23 January. Among the courses utilised is the iconic Pete Dye-designed Stadium Course, known as one of the PGA Tour’s most challenging tracks.
Spectators attending on Friday and Saturday will be treated to concerts after play has concluded, so you’ll not only be treated to some top-class golf but also an evening of live music, too. General admission Grounds tickets start at USD $46 for Wednesday’s Pro-Am, and children aged 12 and under get in free with a ticketed adult, while for those seeking hospitality the luxurious Champions Club is available from $211.

Then comes the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am from 31 January – 6 February. Like the American Express, it is held at 3 neighbouring courses; Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Often featuring high-profile celebrities – the likes of Bill Murray, Justin Timberlake, and Tom Brady have played in this event over the years – alongside some of golf’s biggest stars, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a fan-favourite on the PGA Tour.
General admission Grounds tickets start at $79.75, and children aged 15 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. If you’re looking to treat yourself to some hospitality there are multiple options, with Clint’s Saloon – an all-inclusive shared hospitality suite – starting from $315.30.

The Hollywood glitz and glamour doesn’t end there; the Genesis Invitational takes place at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles from 17 – 20 February. This event started life in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open, and is among the PGA Tour’s oldest and most historic tournaments. Indeed, back in 1992, it played host to the PGA Tour debut of a young, 16-year-old amateur named Tiger Woods, whose charitable foundation is now the beneficiary of the event.
General admission Grounds tickets cost $50 regardless of which day you choose to attend, and like Pebble Beach children aged 15 and under may enter the tournament for free. There are a wide variety of premium experiences to choose from, from Clubhouse access for $75 per day to the Backlot hospitality venue for $680 per day.
