It wasn’t a normal Tour de France – it was postponed then nearly cancelled, fans were discouraged from travelling to spectate, presentations were masked, and handshakes replaced with thumbs-ups. But in a time when nobody is quire sure what normal means, huge credit is given to the organisers for successfully running this super-sized event and proving that the pandemic didn’t make the racing any less exciting.
Tadej Pogacar became the first Slovenian ever to win the infamous yellow jersey and is the youngest winner of the Tour de France in a century. Check out some of the highlights below:
