It’s 2022 and the Harlem Globetrotters are back with the North American leg of their new Spread Game Tour well underway. For fans in the United States and Canada, the Globetrotters are playing exhibition games around the country virtually every day until the end of April, while international fans can look forward to opportunities to see them later in the year. The North American leg will visit venues far and wide, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and everything in between.
Any chance to see the Globetrotters is special thanks to their dazzling skills, gravity-defying hijinks, and remarkable athleticism, but the Spread Game Tour promises to be extra special. The team have partnered with award-winning Broadway experts and acclaimed comedians to create a show that's bigger, better, and funnier than ever, all while paying a touching tribute to Globetrotters legend Curly Neal, who died aged 77 in 2020.
Spectators can expect new on-court characters, an all-new dunk contest, and more this year, as well as their chance to see their favourite stars including Alex “Moose” Weekes, Cherelle “Torch” George, and Jahmani “Hot Shot” Swanson.
Created by Abe Saperstein in 1926 – then known as the Chicago Globetrotters – the team have been entertaining fans around the world for almost 100 years. Indeed, the Globetrotters have performed in 124 countries and territories to over 148 million fans. The team have played in excess of 27,000 games in that time, often facing fellow exhibition sides such as the Washington Generals or the New York Nationals, and have lost on just 345 occasions.

While the games are not fixed, entertainment is always the order of the day, so some elements are pre-planned for maximum fun – their opponents won’t be looking to spoil the party by interrupting their hijinks on offense.
Tickets start from around USD $20, while premium experiences where you’ll get even more access to your heroes – which include the Magic Pass, Meet and Greet, and Celebrity Court Pass – start from $25. If you feel that time keeps on slippin’ into the future, then don’t hesitate to grab your tickets now!
