Since it was first played in the USA in 2003, whenever the Mosconi Cup has ventured stateside, the tournament has taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the competition’s spiritual home across the pond, Sin City has acted as a vibrant backdrop for pool’s most colorful contest, and all the thrilling action and off-table drama with which it has become associated.
In 2024, however, the Mosconi Cup will not return to Vegas, but instead trade the Mojave Desert for sunny Florida. Set to take place between 30 November – 3 December 2024, the event will be held at Caribe Royale Orlando, a Caribbean-inspired convention hotel and event space just 2 miles from Disneyworld.
No stranger to the world of sport, Caribe Royale Orlando has hosted a number of events in recent times, including an evening of professional boxing headlined by Edgar Berlanga vs Padraig McCrory. For the Mosconi Cup, Matchroom has confirmed that the venue will feature a “cauldron-like” arena capable of holding 2,500 fans, which will, no doubt, help encourage the electric atmosphere that has become a tournament trademark.

After 4 straight victories, Europe will look to win their fifth Mosconi Cup in a row in 2024, with stars like Jayson Shaw and David Alcaide leading the side. Not only will a hostile crowd on American soil stand in their way, but also a talented USA team that includes the likes of Skyler Woodward and Fedor Gorst.
Following “record-breaking” early sales, tickets are limited for this year’s Mosconi Cup, but there are still seats available online through official suppliers and resellers. As well as single day tickets, fans can also take advantage of 4-Day Passes that will provide entry for the entire event.
