Played annually since 2012, the Rugby Championship is one of sport's great spectacles. Featuring Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Argentina, the competition is, in many ways, the Southern Hemisphere's answer to the Six Nations, with the same fierce rivalries and bragging rights at stake in each and every game.
Last year, in 2023, rugby giants New Zealand claimed the Rugby Championship title for the fourth year in a row, continuing their dominance of a tournament they have won 10 times in 12 attempts. While the All Blacks remain favourites to retain their title this year, they will face stiff competition in the shape of bitter rivals Australia, and 2023 Rugby World Cup winners South Africa. The Springboks, in particular, will take great confidence from their world cup performance, in which they defeated the legendary All Blacks in the Final.

In 2024, the Rugby Championship takes place between 10 August – 28 September, with 3 home games scheduled for each participating country. Top fixtures to look out for include:
- Australia vs South Africa · Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane · 10 August
- South Africa vs New Zealand · Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg · 31 August
- New Zealand vs Australia · Sky Stadium, Wellington · 28 September
