Football came home for the Lionesses in 2022 as the women’s team secured their first major trophy, defeating old rivals Germany on home soil at Wembley Stadium thanks to Chloe Kelly’s extra-time winner. When the competition returns from 2-27 July 2025, England will find themselves in the unfamiliar position of defending champions – their victory being the country’s first notable international honour since the men’s team lifted the FIFA World Cup back in 1966.
They’re among 9 teams to have already secured their qualification for Euro 2025, which also includes hosts Switzerland, 8-time winners Germany, 2017 champions the Netherlands, France, and Spain. The 16-team tournament will be held across 8 cities around Switzerland: Basel, Bern, Geneva, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Sion, and Thun.
The draw will take place on 16 December 2024, but fans can already secure their tickets for the competition after sales began on Tuesday. Tickets are divided into Categories 1, 2, and 3. Category 1 tickets are primarily located on the sidelines, Category 2 seats primarily in the corners, and Category 3 seats primarily behind the goals. Category 3 pricing will only be in effect in the opening game, the semifinals, and the final, however; in all other matches, seating behind the goals will be classed as Category 2.
Prices range from CHF 25 (EUR €27, GBP £22) to CHF 90 (€96, £80); please note there are no discounts on tickets for children.
